CNC Manufacturing Essential Training

The goal of this course is to teach the student how to use the CamWorks, and SolidWorks to create the G-Code program required to machine prismatic parts (2.5 Axis) in a CNC Milling Machines.

The course is designed around a process or task based approach to training rather than focusing on individual features and functions. The process based training course emphasizes the process and procedures you follow to complete a particular task. By utilizing case studies to illustrate these processes, the student learns the necessary commands, options and menus in the context of completing a design task.

This training includes a laboratory were after the completion of the lessons the student will set up the material in a Haas TM-1P CNC machine, make the appropriate tool set ups, and work offset and will run a program created in the last lesson, manufacturing a business card holder.
